Madlib – Blunted In The Bomb Shelter

I have been hearing about this album for years. I listened to a couple samples and it sounds crazy. Fans of Madlib should definitely give this a listen. Several years back Madlib took a bunch of reggae/ska tracks and Madlib’ed the shit out of them. The project is called Blunted In The Bomb Shelter. I still haven’t heard the whole thing, but I’m downloading it now. You should probably do the same. Credit to RappCats.

Stones Throw sent that link out on Twitter yesterday. It's an album I've been looking to get for a while. I didn't change the link and put Pigeons and Planes tags on it and I hadn't ever even been to that site before. I just copped the link and shared my thoughts.I always try to give credit when I get something from someone else, and I'll do that here too. Only reason I didn't do it at first is because I thought I was getting it directly from Stones Throw. But just because someone else posts about an album or song, that doesn't mean that no other blogs can post about it.Pisses me off that you'd say I "straight up bit" anything, because I think I make more of an effort than 99% of bloggers to NOT bite shit and to give credit wherever credit is due.
