Lil Wayne’s Documentary Trailer & Info.

I forgot about this for a minute. Here is the trailer for The Carter, a documentary about Wayne directed by Adam Bhala Lough. It’s definitely going to be interesting to get a glimpse at the life of the pill-popping, syrup-sipping martian. The film will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January of ’09.

Kanye tells fan to "Eat Shit, Die"…. in autotune!!!

I know I just posted some Kanye but I just saw this at NahRight and it’s too funny not to post. Someone throws a coin at Kanye while he’s on stage so Kanye retaliates verbally in autotune.

Unreleased! Kanye West – Home

Since everyone seemed to like “Livin’ A Movie”, I’m gonna put up another one of my favorite unreleased Kanye tracks. It’s called “Home” and Kanye’s verses on it are the same as what turned out to be the song “Homecoming”. “Homecoming” is a cool track, but I like this early version better. It’s got that great classic Kanye soul beat, and Chris Martin isn’t on the chorus. Not that he’s bad or anything, but this chorus fits the song better. I’ve always loved the lyrics too. Check it out.

New! Bon Iver – Blood Bank (Stream) + Skinny Love

Bon Iver had one of the best albums of 2008 with For Emma, Forever Ago. It was his first album and it was recorded in a cabin with little help from outside sources. I’m looking forward to hearing his new material, and I’m hoping all this attention hasn’t changed his music. The Blood Bank EP is coming out on January 20th, 2009. Here’s the first song available for stream and the tracklisting. I’ll throw up the mp3 when I find it.

Blood Bank – Bon Iver

Blood Bank EP Tracklisting:
1. Blood Bank
2. Beach Baby

And a beautiful song from For Emma, Forever Ago

Unreleased Lupe – Hustlers and Customers

A lot of new hip hop lately. This isn’t so much new, but recently liberated thanks to Fake Shore Drive. It’s some unreleased Lupe over a nice classical loop and it has a real underground kind of sound to it. No flashy production here.

Justice – Phantom II (Video)

I think this is from their new documentary Across the Universe. It features some live footage and some behind the scenes footage from their North American tour. Looks pretty wild.

New! Clinton Sparks, Clipse, Pharrell, Cassidy

Clipse sounds nice over that deep, heavy percussion. Cassidy sounds as usual on the “Misunderstood” beat from Lil Wayne’s C3.

New! Eminem – Number One (Prod. Dr. Dre)

New Eminem track with production by Dr. Dre. No official word on what album it’s gonna be on, but it’s probably going to go through some more mixing first. I’ll keep my eyes out for new versions, but I know a lot of people are curious to hear what Em is going to come with after disappearing, so check it out now! Thanks to illRoots.
